Experience and areas of practice: after graduating from the University of Bologna (Italy, 2002, Degree in Law) with periods of study in Germany (Humboldt-Universität, Berlin), Austria (Karl-Franzens-Universität, Graz) and Switzerland (World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, Geneva), I gained significant professional experience in international law firms in Milan, covering consultancy and litigation; specifically, civil and commercial law matters and the protection of industrial and intellectual property rights – including patents, trademarks, copyright, design and know-how.
For example, I specifically dealt with litigation and contracts relating to sales agreements (e.g. international sale of goods), distribution and agency agreements, patents (e.g. regarding household equipment), trademarks (e.g. wine industry), design and copyright litigation involving furniture, urban design and architectural works.
Through the experience in advising and defending companies and foreign nationals in Italy, I gained specific expertise in private international law and EU law.
